Bullhead City is Horsing Around with NEW Tournaments

Bullhead City Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce an upcoming series of horseshoe tournaments. Starting November 2, 2021 at 8:00am and continuing the first Tuesday of every month, the tournaments will be held at the horseshoe pits at Ken Fovargue Park, located at 2255 Trane Road in Bullhead City, AZ.

Parks and Recreation Superintendent, Dave Heath said, “watching our locals play horseshoes is truly amazing. The amount of skill these players have and the passion they have for the sport is incredible.”
The pits are currently being prepped for the competition by the Parks Maintenance team and will be in tip-top shape for the November 2nd tournament.

All tournaments are free of charge and do not require pre-registration. The monthly events will be great practice for the Senior Games Horseshoe Tournament, to be held on Tuesday, January 18th. Warm-up for the Senior Games competition begins at 10:00am and the competition starts at 10:30am. Anybody interested in learning more or joining the 2022 Games should visit www.seniorgames.co.

Also new, Bullhead City Recreation is hosting a H.O.R.S.E. Tournament will be held at Suddenlink Community Center, located at 2380 Suddenlink Way, in Bullhead City, AZ. Competitions are scheduled every month, starting October 23, 2021 at 4pm. 2021 competitions will be November 20, December 18; followed by 2022 tournaments on January 22 and February 19. A winner will be declared at the end of each match with a tournament winner declared at the Finals on Saturday, February 19, 2022.

The tournament winner will receive a trophy for their efforts. Each event costs $20.00. All ages are invited to attend.
